- The 300 square meter houses are situated 100m from the beach.
- The well appointed 8 sleeper houses comprise of:
- 4 air conditioned bedrooms
- 2 Main en suite with queen sized beds
- 2 bedrooms share a bathroom, ¾ beds in each
- Big open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge which opens up onto a wrap around deck with your own private plunge pool
- Each house has individual fridges, deep freezes, industrial ice makers, 6 plate SMEG stove and oven, and a very well equipped kitchen.
- Linen supplied (fitted sheet, flat sheet, duvet and two pillows per bed).
- Hairdryers and other electrical devices can be used. Each room is equipped with bedside lamps and plug points.
- Electricity – full EDM power is on site, with back up generators if required.
- Gas supplied to all houses
- Braai facility at each house
- Back of houses have a covered area
- Big gazebo on the beach to sit under
- Water is drinkable (very good borehole water)
- Bread can be ordered from the manager
- Washing machine facilities at an additional cost
- You have to supply your own towels, toilet paper, cleaning material (dishwashing liquid, washing powder) and refuse bags.
- Fresh fish and crayfish can be ordered from the manager.
- Visitors are obligated to pay all breakages.
- Restaurants, Dive centres, a shop and garage are all close by
- Arrangements are made with the dive centre or Jeffs to leave boats, jet skiis there for the duration of your holiday.
- Fishing excursions can be arranged.
- Check in after 2pm and Departure not later than 9am.
- All outstanding money to be paid in SA before arrival.
- On arrival, have passports, proof of payment with booking, ready for check in.
- Tyre pressure not to exceed .8 bars – Do not drive with higher pressure ( Need your compressor and pressure gauge).
- NO Quad bikes allowed on Resort or Beach.
- No 4-wheelers are allowed in the resort or on the beach.
- No Vehicles allowed on the beach and sand Dunes. It is strictly prohibited. R10000 fine will be enforced.
- No person without a valid driver’s license may drive on the Resort or the Beach.
- Speed limit in the resort is 15km/h.
- NO OPEN FLAMES ALLOWED IN THE HOUSES.
- NO WOOD FIRES – use charcoal.
- You may not employ anyone without approval from the Resort Management. ONLY Ngumula Lodge staff allowed on the Resort.
- No hawkers allowed on premises. Purchasing of fish etc must be done through the manager or foreman.
- Smoking in the houses is not permitted.
- No braais may be used on the decks, as they are a fire hazard.
