Ngumula is more than just a place;
it’s a feeling – of family, friends, laughter, tranquility, cherished moments, and unforgettable memories. It is a home away from home, which we have returned to every year for the best part of twelve years. We have welcomed family and friends from around the world to Ngumula, introduced our children to its wonders since they were babies, where they began crawling up and down the white sand dunes to swimming, snorkelling and exploring the ocean in front of the lodge. Our family shares a deep appreciation for nature and has been delighted with sightings of whales, dolphins, fish and turtles from the front deck as well as discovered a diversity of species found in its rock pools and dunes. We fell in love with this little lodge that is nestled amongst sand dunes and offers stunning views of the ocean and sunrise – where the houses are private, spacious, and comfortable, with tasteful decor that truly makes them feel like home. The team at Ngumula is dedicated and consistent, and we look forward to seeing those familiar faces we have come to cherish throughout the years.
